Hi! I'm DJ. I'm a widower, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. I love life. I enjoy getting postcards & swaps in the mail. I am housebound so mail and swaps brighten my day. I get my mail once a week usually Friday.

My favorite color is green. I love turquoise, jewel tones-emerald green, sapphire blue, topaz yellow, ruby red. I love all colors. For apron swaps I am size medium. I enjoy vintage cards, tea parties, traveling. I feed the hummingbirds and garden in flower boxes on the front porch.

I read all kinds of magazines, novels and books. Autobiographies, encyclopedias, westerns, suspense & mystery stories. I love cats, peonies, trees, gardening, the ocean, pineapple upside down cake, fancy teacups. I love cards and postcards from all over the world. I love vintage cards and have a scrapbook with ones received throughout all the many years of my life.

I love Asian themes-bamboo, paper lanterns, silk brocade, tigers, lions, panthers and bears. I collect stuffed animals and have a growing collection for when the great grands come to play. I love costume jewelry and wear earrings, brooches, necklaces and bracelets. I grow heirloom roses. I live in the forest, above the fog, below the snow, and love to watch the deer walk through the yard.
