Hi, I am a hospice nurse who is married and have 2 grown children who were adopted. I grew up in the midwest of the United States in Michigan between Ann Arbor and East Lansing. I grew up on a farm and am a country girl. My father was a Farrier (Horseshoer) and had a Farrier School. I have had various farm animals in the past. I still love horse and have a Tennesee Walking Horse which I show in the summer when financers allow. I am a homecare nurse for a large hospice in Cleveland Ohio. I currently live on the east side of Cleveland out in the suburbs. I love to craft and am a jack of all trades meaning I have done a bit of everything from spinning, weaving, dying and knitting to jewelry, journaling, and all kinds of paper crafts. I am not a fantastictic artist but my favorite mediums are pen and ink and watercolor. My current passions are art journaling and always jewelry. I love bracelets and earrings. I love to read just about anything and am an avid reader. I love to laugh and have a good sense of humor. I belong to another on line art group ClothPaper Scissors and have just found Swat Bot which is really intriguing to me because of all the different people and interests.
Everything but Opera.Well I do like the three tenors but do not own any opera music. Very Eclectic. Listen to a lot of classical but also like old rock, country western, folk and new age.
All kinds. Just finished John Steinbecks East of Eden and Pat Conroy's Beach Music. Recently read London by Edward Rutherfurd. Love mysteries, historic novels anything about the south or other countries.
Drama and Historical Movies as well as Foreign and Art Films. I like weird movies. One of my favorite was The Crying Game. Not that excited about action or war flicks.
I love anything vintage, antique and country. I like old costume jewelry especially bracelets and earrings, tins, little boxes, old bits of textiles, buttons, paper ephemera almost anything. I can spend the whole day in one of those antique stores with 200 booths. Currently really into Tim Holtz stuff.
Reds from true red through Burgundies. Blues mediums to darks Greens Muted, Dark Greens Lately teal and dark purples,
Cinnamon Tea, Plastic dishes and silverware, Plastic in general although I like plastic buttons.
