Hello everyone!

I´m new here, but not to swapping :) As long as I can remember I´ve always loved to get mail, and I had plenty of penpals as a child. It´s something special to open the mail box and see that a card or package is addressed for YOU! And not just another bill..I think every swapper knows that excitement!

I also have started up a postcrossing account which is linked above. On my flickr you can see some of the postcards I have to trade. I also upload some of my outgoing swaps, so warning for spoilers!

To give you a little presentation of me:

I´m a 21 year old university student living in a medium sized city in Sweden. I live with my lovely cat and boyfriend. I love to learn about other people and the countries they live in. Therefore I also love to travel, and I´ve been to a fair amount of places. Most recently I travelled to Peking, China for a week. I hope to be able to travel to the UK next year. I´ve been to London once before, but I would like to explore more of this wonderful country.

School takes up alot of my time, but when I´m free I like to watch movies, bake/cook or read a good book! My favourite author is Lesley Pearse, I think she is a very talented writer. When I was younger I dreamed of becoming an author, I wanted to be just as good as her. Another interest I have is language learning, unfortunately don´t have any time for it at the moment. I like to practice my English whenever I have the chance, and in high school I studied Japanese for three years.

The kind of swaps I´m l intrested in doing are probably postcards but I´m open for other swaps too :)

I´m looking forward to get started here!

Postcards:

I love postcards! The ones I collect are mainly cards from different countries, the touristy kinds. This could be of a city view, beautiful scenery, buildings, famous landmarks, famous animal, food, celebrations, festivals etc. I prefer the postcards to be sent naked and stamped, with a message from you :-) I don´t collect stamps, but I love some nice stamps on the postcard.

If you are a collector of postcards and want a card from Sweden, I would be happy to do private swaps!

My special postcard wishlist:

• USA State postcards (I have a lot of postcards from the USA so it would be cool to collect postcards from all the different states!)

• Gotochi postcard from Japan or Taiwan

• Studio Ghibli postcard (I love Totoro and ponyo especially) :)

Hot beverages:

• Tea: I love my tea, and drink it all the time. I enjoy trying new flavours but my favourites are fruity tea (berries ect) and chai tea. But I like some variation :)

• Hot chocolate: I enjoy drinking a cup of hot chocolate on occasion.

• Coffee: I used to drink coffee a lot before, but for a year or so I´ve started to get stomach ache (?!) from drinking coffee. But I do like those cappuccino/ latte/ mocha sachets.

Stickers:

I also collect stickers. I love cute stickers :) I like both stickersheets, loose stickers, sticker flakes etc. My favorite is kawaii stickers (the Japanese brands like san-x, Pool Cool, Q-lia, mind wave ect) But I know these can be hard to find, so I wouldn´t expect to receive those, unless it´s an actual kawaii sticker swap of course.

Candy/ sweets:

My favourite must be milk chocolate! yummy! But I like most candy and chocolates. It´s always interesting to taste something special from your region/ country!
