Will your dad ever stop smoking? (My dad just got diagnosed with lung cancer - AWFUL). You cracked me up with your flow of thought, I LOVED it. I loved everything you sent me, especially the stuff you made. My ultimate favorite (other than the beautiful bracelet) was the shells. We have totally different shells here. I know, stupid thought -- but it is true. I so totally can picture you as my friend Denise in about thirty years. She is old enough to almost be my mom, but she has the coolest and most interesting personality. So, you have to keep me updated. I need to know the rest of the story...as Paul Harvey says. Your journal totally rocked! Did you know > I am a special ed teacher / I do live by the Gulf of Mexico, but would trade it for the shores of Lake Michigan (where I grew up). My children (whom are adopted) are Italian / Mexican heritage. You introduced a couple of new ideas to me > the book swap and the smile card. I loved this swap. I think it would have been fun to send it two people. I tended to write to my person about things I hope she connected with and would love to see if it would have been different with another person.
