Response: I put a pin through the paper where I wanted the center to be and using small dabs of glue, started winding around it. I didn't glue down the whole string, just picked a few areas. When I finished with the circle I had added the pins where I wanted to put the peaks of the ears and the indent and just wound the thread around them, glued them down a bit and waited for it to dry and CAREFULLY pulled the pins out. Then I embellished. It wasn't fast, but it was fun.
Response: That was glittery nail polish on black cardstock!
Response: LOL. The nargle you got is attempt numbered three! The first used fun fur, which I have decided is completely misnamed. The second was to be a more traditional fairy-looking softie which ended up looking like a voodoo doll. I gave up on something with wings and just had fun with it. I'm glad you liked my little grumpy guy.
Response: Just be warned, Lady Knight is the third in the series. Start with First Test, which I am coincidentally re-reading at the moment...
Response: I'm glad you liked them. I hoped they would please.
Response: Yeaaaah, my friends and I start letting the epithets fly about the time someone plays the first monopoly card and takes all the wood or brick.
Response: You're welcome. It was interesting. I'm like you and rough on the suckers. I had to really slow down.
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I was afraid it would be too simple and abstract. I loved the way it came out but I sometimes have weird tastes.
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I had the most fun with the box, I'll admit. Mom just laughed at me "sacrificing" some of my Lego pieces.
Response: I really hope you like it. It's been one that I reread at least five times a year for a VERY long time.
Response: Cool. I don't think I'll be crocheting QUITE that tiny again for a little bit. Fun, but I had to restart way too many times for comfort,
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I have a newfound respect for the ancient Celts and their knot-making!
Response: I'm just glad they got there. Honestly, though, I've forgotten who I made them of. I'm thinking it was Khan at different ages, right?
Response: LOL. I liked this swap. The next time My niece and nephew stay over we're going to make some, especially with the crazy hair!
Response: I know they were a bit weird, but I went with the inspiration provided on my vacation. I'm glad you liked them!
Response: Yeah, I had started a Gryffindor one before we were assigned partners and I realized you might not like it as much as a Slytherin one. My nephew will get that one. I'm glad you like it.
Response: No prob. I'm just glad it actually got there.
Response: I'm glad you liked him. I'd been looking for an excuse to crochet him and this swap gave it to me. I also hope you can make that cover work somehow. It was nice enough I didn't want to trash it but I just couldn't get it to work.
Response: I'm so glad you liked them.
Response: Lil. I'll share a secret about those city names. There a fantasy place name generator online. I used it, wrote down the names I liked best and jumbled them up when I named everything.
Response: My mom, myself and my niece and nephew played Old Maid on my birthday and I lost twice. Appropriate, I think. LOL. I'm glad you liked the stuff.
Response: LOL. Tammy just rocks! Her newest trilogy is really good, too. I don't really recommend starting with the Alanna books, though. Her first series and not her strongest.
Response: Cool. I had fun with him, too.

Response: I'm really glad you like it. I had fun doing it.
Response: LOL. I'm glad you like them. Working with that twine was not the easiest thing in the world. If you do it, I recommend a larger hook just to make it looser. It used up an amazng amount of the spool, too.
Response: I have a bunch of books on old woodcuts and love the style myself. I figured those I used all applied to the subject of the book, so I just had fun with them!
Response: I'm glad you like it. Let me know what you think of the book. He has a bunch of others I've picked up and a really good writing style.

Response: You're welcome. I never imagined so many ads for sushi places until I started looking at the stuff I had!
Response: You're welcome. I found the postcard at a used bookstore. I probably still read BTS at least twice a year, 17 years later.
Response: Glad you liked it. One of these days I'll be less nervous when I send them out.
Response: I'm so glad you liked the ATC. Nervous is not even close to describing how I've been feeling.
