Comment: This is the best card I've gotten so far. I think I have about 10. Your concept was fresh and the execution was excellent. I have two questions about the execution- How did you get such a light dusting of power? When I put glue on an image you can see it, so I’d have to smother the glue with glitter. (I use photo paper so that may be the problem.) A big extra thanks for the glitter, by the way, though it is actually more like a power. It’s more subtle and sophisticated than regular glitter and I’ll probably buy some more colors if my experimenting goes well. Also, I recognize the technique you used to color the edges of the card and the words but I don’t actually know how that is done. Paint? Crayon? Thank you very much for a wonderful card.
Response: I'm so pleased you liked the card. The glitter "dusting" is from a glitter glue called Stickles by Ranger Inudstries. They have tons of colors. You can apply it with paint brushes or just squeeze it on for heavier coverage. It's great stuff. The glitter I sent you as a goodie is an actually called Art Glitter and is from a company called Art Instittue Glitter. I think Michaels sells it? I think? It's a very common brand. And finaly, the edges of the card are "inked" using Color Box Cat's Eye Chalk Ink. I think I ink almost everything and go through that stuff like crazy. Again, any scrapbook store would have it.
