Description:

I have always lived by the sea throughout my whole life and would love to swap ATCS with this theme. ATCs can be based on by the seaside, in the sea, on top of the sea, flora or fauna of the sea - what ever springs to mind when you think of the sea.

Any technique is allowed although an element of texture such as fibers, embellishments, whatever would certainly be exciting. ATC's must be 2.5" x 3.5" (64x89mm). Also, please make sure you date and sign the back of them and include your swap-bot id.

You will be making one ATC for two partners ie making 2 ATCs.

Newbies welcome, I will angel if anyone has to drop out. Just let me know.

Have fun!

Hi, I would love to join this swap as Iive on the ocean and love the water! I am away for work and business from 2/7 till 2/16, is there anyway you would consider an end deadline date to move to 2/23? I would be able to make the ATCs that weekend. If not I understand, I just wanted to ask. Thank You, Jackie

I have made a few seaside themed ATC's, and just love swapping with other like minded people

I have changed the deadline date for sending to 23 Feb to accommodate jcm716. Hope that is okay with everyone - you get to have a few days extra grace to send the ATCs off! Hope this is helpful to you jcm716. Have a great trip.

I would love to join this one! Could someone please explain what an ATC is really? Are they like tags? Sort of like inchies only bigger? ha ha...I'm struggling can you tell?

Hi OfficeWeed An ATC is an ARTIST TRADING CARD. They are a standard 3.5 inches by 2.5inches in size. Apart from that anything goes. You can paint, draw, embellish, use material, quilting etc. The list is endless just as long as it is arty/crafty in nature. They are not sold but are swapped with a partner who sends you one. For instance if you took part in this ATC swap you would make two ATCs and send off one ATC to two different people. You would receive an ATC also from two different people. Cool heh? You are welcome to look at my Flickr photos for some ideas of ATCs that I have done. Other members have Flickr too demonstrating their ATCs. Just have a nose around and get some ideas. Have fun. I hope you decide to join in on this swap. :)
