Comment: Thank you for the notecard, Brooklyn. Regarding covid, we don't have too many cases here, so that's been nice. Our mask mandate was lifted on March 15th, but here, most people still wear their masks. I always end up feeling uncomfortably full when I eat out as well; the portions are always so big! I hope that things with you and Doug work out, even if that means you just stay friends. It's wonderful that you are there to support him, I hope he appreciates that.
Comment: Hi Brooklyn, I think you did well this month. It's hard to motivate yourself when struggling with depression and you still managed to get lots of your list done. With the short-term memory loss and memorising Bible verses, I sometimes find it helpful to record something I want to memorise -- on a cassette tape or on my phone or video camera -- and then to listen to it. When I was trying to memorise a poem I did that and then listened to it over and over when I was doing the dishes and it worked! I read somewhere that speaking out loud and listening uses different parts of the brain than reading silently. And try Matthew 11.28 and Isaiah 41.10 -- both good reminders when things seem bleak.
Comment: Hi Brooklyn! Love your nc and thank you for sharing about your weekend! You had me giggling about your hamster's day spa! I am sorry Jason's Deli staff was rude - most places cannot afford that these days - so what the heck?? I do like sweet tea but have found in the south it is too sweet for me, so I have half sweet and half plain to balance it out - which is than perfect! My hubby picked out Greta's name as he wanted something German - she is the sweetest thing and so my fur baby!! Hope you are enjoying your weekend! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
