I've been happily married to my wonderful husband for 4 years. I'm a stay-at-home mom of a beautiful little girl. I have a cockapoo (dog) a cat and several fish. I live in New England. I love the idea of this site and hopefully our finances will allow for me to enter more swaps in the future!

I love all sorts of crafts. Lately I have been making lots of quilts. I make full sized quilts as a gift for any wedding we go to. I also sell flannel baby quilts regularly. I've recently started making stuffed animals, mostly out of repurposed felted sweaters. I've also recently started embroidering items like onesies and placemats. I also love to felt, I've tried all kinds like wet felting, fulling, needle felting and re-purposing wool materials. The craft I have loved the longest is Jewelry making. I love working with sterling silver (I don't like gold) and gemstone beads. I prefer to makes neckalces and dangly earrings and I have been lucky enough to sell these as well, at craft fairs and online. Other crafts that I dabble in include: crocheting, scrapbooking, decoupage and soapmaking. Crafts that I've tried but don't enjoy include knitting and stamping.

Fall is my favorite season. Green is my favorite color. I don't like pink. I love the smell of fresh cut grass. My favorite flowers are columbines, white daisies, lily of the valley and lavender. My favorite vegetables are soybeans, asparagus and avacado. My favorite fruits are raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and blackberries (can you tell that I love berries?). I prefer the country to the city. I prefer the ocean and lakes over mountains and plains. I love most animals except for birds and deer (they drop ticks).

I love, love, love collecting fabric. Cotton is my favorite. I love modern prints, and vintage inspired 30's and 50's print. I love all colors, especially greens. My favorite color combos are black & white, teal and brown, green and blue and yellow, green and brown, orange and purple, green and orange, yellow and green, green and peach, magenta and peach, magenta and green. My favorite fabric designers are: Amy Butler(!), Anna Griffin, Lizzy House(!), Betz White, Erin McMorris, Anna Maria Horner, Patricia Bravo, Mona Luna, Valori Wells , Tina Givens.

I love blogging. I have my own personal site, plus another that I post on for a Virtual Quilting Bee that I am a member of. Mostly, I love to read other people's blogs. My google reader is jam packed with friend's blogs and way too many craft blogs. They are so addicting, I just can't get enough of them! Some of my favorites include: Betz White, Sew, Mama, Sew! Blog, Wee Wonderfuls, MADE, forty-two roads, SouleMama, the seventy tree, Things We Make, Max and Ellie, Lizzy House. Have a favorite craft blog that you read? Please share the link with me! I love all sorts of music. My favorite bands are Guster, Coldplay and the Counting Crows. I also love, Death Cab For Cutie, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Howie Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Pete Yorn, Barenaked Ladies, Nickel Creek etc. Music genres that I don't like as much include rap, country, christian and easy listening.

My favorite authors include: Elizabeth Berg & Nicholas Sparks. I also enjoy most any 'chick lit' type of book. I prefer mindless reading over anything else. I also love magazine such as, Organic Gardening, Parents, People, Body & Soul & Martha Stewart Weddings.

I sadly admit to being a reality tv junkie. I especially love Survivor, Amazing Race, Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, Top Chef, So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol, The Real World, Next Food Network Star and The Bachelor/Bachelorette. I also love, LOST, Heroes, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Ugly Betty, The Office The Big Bang Theory, Scrubs, Heroes, and How I Met Your Mother. Shows now currently on the air that I love are Friends, Seinfeld and Alias. Oh also, show from my childhood like The Smurfs, The Get Along Gang, Dumbos Circus, Picture Pages, The Snorks, The Gummi Bears, Fraggle Rock, The Wuzzles abd David and the Gnome.

I've been swapping seeds for over 4 years now on the GardenWeb. I love collecting as many kinds as I can, it's a total addiction. GardenWeb also taught me how to Lasagna Garden, Vermicompost and Winter Sow, all of which I am not addicted to as well. I grew up helping my dad in his vegetable garden and upon purchasing a house 5 years ago, turned over a new garden plot immediately. I especially love growing, sugar snap peas, edamame, tomatoes, beets, swiss shard and all kids of squashes. Purchasing out own home also allowed me to start growing my first flower gardens. Most of the flowers in our yard (we've already added 7 new flower beds) I grew from seed with my winter sowing efforts (I am very proud of this). I am constantly moving them around and wanting to add new beds, hehe.
