About Me

I live in the forest with my best friend. We love our life and all the lessons and gifts that have happened for us over our 28 years. I love Mother Earth and all her creatures and am fortunate that several of the furry ones have chosen to live with us! I love to feed and watch birds, plant and watch things grow, and make things from other things! I have 2 children and a grandchild. They are the sun and moon and stars!!

Favorite Crafts

I love paper and wood, ribbon and cloth, dried flowers and moss, glass and string, sewing and gluing, cutting and molding! My most recent craft obsession is spoon wands!

Things I like

My favorite colors are green and purple. I like to play in my gardens and work with the dirt.I enjoy cooking, and I love vintage cookware because it reminds me of my MawMaw. I collect old refrigerator ware. I also collect silver spoons. I am not sure why, I just like the way they feel. I also love collecting interesting rocks, shells, feathers and leaves. I love to raise my own herbs, for magic as well as cooking, so I like little odd jars for storage. I like tarot and runes. I love fresh and dried flowers. I also LOVE anything witchy!

Favorite Books

I enjoy old cookbooks and herbals. I love almanacs and grimoires. I also like blank journal type books for keeping all my thoughts and ideas!

Favorite Television

I don't watch much TV, too much other stuff to keep me busy, but when I do, I like The History Channel and gardening shows.

Comment: Thanks VERY much Karen -- you went above and beyond, really! The bowl is lovely and I've been quietly collecting blue an white dishes. Perfect! You didn't have to send all the other goodies although they are all perfect for my taste. I think I have a use for the fabric too since it IS pretty. It took me about five minutes to cut my way through the tape but the bowl was safe! Thanks a ton.
