9/9/24: Going on a hiatus until the end of the year  

Hi! 😊My name is Wendy. I'm 26 years old and I'm from Washington state.

I'm currently a college student getting a degree in accounting and business administration. It's my second attempt at college as I was orginally aiming for a psychology degree in the past, but that didn't work out and I went on a 4 year hiatus.

I've been penpaling since 2018 and I got into postcrossing in feb 2024. I've been journaling my entire life as I find it therapeutic, and it helps me keep track of my goals and habits.

Personality wise, I'm an introvert, but once I'm comfortable around people I can be really loud and silly. I'm also a homebody, but I do like to go out and travel whenever I get the opportunity to.

All things kawaii, disney, pixar, harry potter, marvel, studio ghilbi (especially sprited away), pokemon, and anything blue or pastel

I'm more of an r&b and rock person, but I also like hiphop, lofi, jpop, kpop and ppop.

I've been on an r&b binge for months, so if you have any song recommendations outside of the genres I normally listen to, feel free to send them my way.

Favorite animes: Haikyuu, my hero academia, demon slayer, ouran high school host club, naruto, kodocha, saiki k, mashle, fire force, and hunterxhunter

My all-time favorite book is Almond by Won Pyung Sohn

Some of my favorite authors are Kiersten Modglin, Natasha Preston (love-hate relationship with her books lol), Freida McFadden and Natalie D. Richards

I'm an avid thriller and mystery reader, but I like to branch out to other genres such as fantasy, romance, self-help and poetry. I'd love to dive more into sci-fi and non-fiction.
