My name is Michelle Wagner. I live in the northwest burbs of Atlanta, Georgia. I have lived here 10 years and previously lived my entire life in the same 6 mile radius in Miami, FL. Got tired of the hurricanes and headed north. I have been married to the love of my life (affectionately know as The Man) for 21 years. I have two kids, both girls, Pdub is 17 and Ddub is 15. I work full time for an insurance company as half bean counter half geek. I have lots of crafty hobbies. Both my kids play travel softball or high school softball so we pretty much play year round. I really only get my weekends to myself from Thanksgiving until about the end of February. I have lots of crafty interests and the attention span of a gnat so I collect a lot of supplies. The Man started another hobby for me this Christmas by giving me two antique typewriters that I absolutely adore. I plan to use them for swaps. We both love old things.

I love to read. My most favorite genre is historical fiction. The Nightingale, The Other Boleyn Girl, The All Souls Trilogy, Beneath the Marble Sky are some of my favorites. I have a listing of books that I have read since 2007 on GoodReads (link above). I also like young adult series. I think I would much rather read a book than watch TV!

My hobbies are many and varied. I love photography, sewing (both modern quilting and garment making), watercolor painting, art journaling, mail art, and most recently, antique typewriters. My sweet husband gave me two Underwood typewriters for Christmas. They are both in pristine condition. I would like to buy another one to try and restore it myself. But I fear the Adult A.D.D. would kick in and I would end up losing parts and not finishing the project. I often listen to the critic inside my head about my artistic endeavors but I am slowly learning to ignore the beotch and just do my thing. It has been a long and arduous process.
