I'm originally from Colorado but now living in NYC! During my childhood I enjoyed having many different pen friends and credit them for being part of the reason why I love exploring/learning about different cultures and places.
When not hard at work, I spend my time reading, working on crafts, cooking for fun, and keeping up to date on what's going on in art, film, and online.
I really like jokes as long as they aren't too completely taste-less. I think everyone can do well with a good laugh here and there.
Since I like to cook, I'm constantly learning about different types of cuisines and rolling up my sleeves to try making something new. I'm both Thai and Italian and cook both but will also dabble in other cuisines such as Japanese, Indian, etc!
I follow trends in art and have memberships at several museums (MOMA for example) but I'm particularly interested in street art. Tags not so much but more the route of stenciling, and people taking a stab at expressing something more than scribbling their name.
Indie Rock, Brit Pop, Beck, The Rolling Stones, Wilco, Bloc Party, Muse, U2, Cat Stevens, Broken Social Scene, The Beatles...the list goes on and on.

FAVORITE: I really like learning about where you are from! I adore postcards of unusual things in your city, the sites, the people, festivals.
Postcards: I like store bought or handmade but I prefer to receive them naked and with a message, riddle, book recommendation, or quote!
