I am a mom and grandma, all girls. I live in a college town, and work at a private liberal arts college. I like to scrapbook, crochet, sew, and just started knitting again after a lame try many years ago. I've lived in California most of my life and love it. I like to email, check out new craft patterns and websites. I'm hooked on eBay and love online shopping.
I like new recipes and am a pretty good cook but don't do it often. I have a crazy dog and a sweet kitty. I love cats, most all dogs, especially little ones, Scottie and Westie dogs, hummingbirds, chickens and roosters, pigs, horses. When I go to the fair, the animals are my favorite things to see. I love purple anything and decorate with light shades of green-sage type, Pink is my favorite color, I love coffee, dark chocolate, flowers, teddy bears, clocks-especially those that tick, candles, vanilla scents, kitchen gadgets. I love genealogy and maintain several family websites. I don't like rainy days, barking dogs, rude or lazy people, dirty cars, loud music, dirty windows, droopy pants. Random, I am a Pisces but don't follow astronomy other than the occasional glance at a thought for the day.

Crochet, knitting, sewing, scrapbooking, reading, flower arranging, craft painting (I'm an amateur!) and occasional gardening. I make pjs for my granddaughters every Christmas and sometimes participate in craft fairs. I have made all sorts of crafts from crocheted scarfs to button dolls. I have quite a collection of yarns, love to check out the new yarns whenever I'm in a craft store. I sew blankets for a national children's charity and just started making baby caps.
