my name is melissa. grew up south of boston in a town with lots of water, complete with a lighthouse and this lady named marylou who opened up the best coffee chain on the east coast,girlscoutcookie iced coffee?! Genius! Decided to move out of that small town when I graduated and wanted to do something with photography, so I moved to ny. After going to school in nyc for two years, my brain was kind of fried I was in the position of not really knowing which direction was up? At the end of my second year there my mental collapse sort of inspired me to move into a quieter state...so I picked Maine. I became really angry with the whole concept of college and didn't pick up my camera for a few months, it caused me to search out other means of expressing myself. Currently working at an art supply store and have learned the task of blueprinting. As much as I hate working in retail it's kind of the ideal job for me right now, the pay sucks but the discount makes it worth it. Plus some of the customers are really endearing,interesting people that definatly make up for all the jerks that treat you like their personal shopper at times. Oh yeah and for some reason I'm gathering myself up and moving back to that stinky old apple sometime in september because I'm thinking it will be whole lot better this time around(ha)

oh also I'm 21 years old, and I think if I could replace my blood with jasmine tea and survive i definatly would, that stuff is just too wonderful for words
