I never feel like I have enough time or am productive enough. I love to think about doing art projects but seem to flitter away any extra time-- which there is not a lot of. I have three kids I adore, am not organized, have a difficult time letting go of things and would much rather talk, laugh, read or philosophize than cook, clean or do laundry. I have many interests and have a difficult time focusing my efforts. I love books, books and more books and the promise they hold. So I have many books related to my interests--paper crafts, book-making, art, poetry, writing, metaphysics, child development, teaching and of course fiction. I love fiction--was an English major in college and want there to be a favorite books catagory. Books and magazines are spilling off of shelves and piled on the floors.
Magazine subscriptions I have or have had (since I keep most of them they're piling up)--Somerset Studio, Cloth Paper Scissors, Artitude zine, Home Companion (old ones-- and Victoria), Bon Apetit and Cooking Light
I like all colors, soft scarves, sparkly shoes, pretty things, fairies, old stuff of all kinds, words and alphabets, poetry, Europe, trees, mountains,
It's a Wonderful Life, Wings of Desire, Stictly Ballroom, Gone with the Wind, Harold and Maude, Little Miss Sunshine, Amelie, Barcelona, Metropolitan, Overboard, Moulin Rouge, old musicals and dance movies.
