Hello-I am a mom who keeps busy running after the kids, cooking,cleaning and washing. In my "spare time" I like to read--with a passion--garden, cook for fun, bake bread, make a fun dessert etc.. I am consumed with crafting,I love creating from nothing. I love vintage images of homemakers and home arts. I love ribbon, buttons, flowers, cabbage roses on everything!! The colors green, red, pink, black, cream and yellow are my favorites. I collect old cookbooks, crafting items like ribbon, papers, emphemra, any really neat findings, old shiny jewerly and anything glittery makes me so happy. If I have a swap partner from outside of the States, I would love to have a small piece of newspaper or magazine from your country for my collage's.

I enjoy all music, no real favorites lately. Rock, country, classical, bluegrass, bigband, rap. I listen to it all.

I like old movies from the 1930's and 40's. It's fun to see the costumes and set decorations. Since I really enjoy vintage things I see how they were used the first time. I enjoyed Phantom of the Opera, Coal Miners Daughter, and anything from Kevin Smith. I generally like chick flicks and if my husband thinks it's stupid, I would probably really like it.

Decoupage and collage are at the top of my list. I love to create pretty things that make my home look nice. I do a bit of embroidery, and plan to overcome my crazy fear of my sewing machine this year. I want to expand my creating to fun items for my house, pillows, throws, and curtains. Lots of color and chintz.
