I'm a twenty year old college student from Maine, currently attending USM and majoring in English and Studio Art.

I live with my family, My mother and two brothers and I work in Hospitality and Sales when I'm not in school.

I draw and write a lot. I keep a journal. I love cartoons and comics.

I'm sort of a fangirl for Harry Potter and Avatar: The last Airbender. I draw fanart and have written fanfiction, although I have never finished or published any of it. If you care, my ships are Zutara/Taang/Sokkaxeveryone for Avatar and Harry/Draco and Sirius/Remus for HP. (Cannon be damned.)

One day I would like to be a published fiction writer and comiker.

I like a whole lot of music, everything from Rock to New Age wierdness to electronica to showtunes, although I can get oddly specific about certain bands or groups.

It would be easier to list what I don't like which is mostly country, rap, R&B, Jazz (especially smooth Jazz) and a good deal of Hip-Hop.

Sampling of favorite bands: Muse, Placebo (yeah I know), Blondie, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, The Killers, The Cure, The Pretenders, The Pillows (awesomesauce J-rock), The Polysics, The Cranberries, The Smashing Pumpkins, Oasis, Morissey and the Smiths, for some strange reason Abba, Enya, Moby, ELO, Nine Inch Nails...

...as you can see, totally random. No continuity.

I was obsessed with Harry Potter for a long time so I feel obligated to say that I love Harry Potter.

But really, My favorite Authors at the moment are Oscar Wilde (I LOVE "The Picture of Dorian Gray") and Nabokov. (I need to finish "Lolita." What I did read was captivating.)

I read a lot of fantasy when I was younger, most of which was bad so I don't really remember it, but in High school I read the "His Dark Materials" series by Phillip Pullman which I absolutely adore. So I am obviously sort of stoked for the movie version. (Nicole Kidman is Mrs. Colter!!)

I also read a lot of Manga, or I used to anyway, before my pocket was unable to support The Habit. (That's when I turned to webcomics. They're free.) I was obsessed with "Sailor Moon" when I was little but now my favorites are "Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne," "Antique Bakery" and "Beck."

As I've mentioned, I'm obsessed with "Avatar: The Last Airbender."

Very excited for the 21st of September!

I watch a lot of cartoons, but mostly on Nickelodeon since Cartoon Network began sullying itself with live-action crap. CN is dead to me.

I love anime, although I've gotten a lot more selective about that I watch recently. Something I watched and liked recently was "The Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya." Some favorites of mine are "Fruits Basket," "FLCL," "Trigun" anything by Miyazaki, "Kareshi Kanojo no Jijyo," "Escaflone," "X/1999" and above all, "Neon Genesis Evangelion."

I'm sure that says a lot about my psychology.

I also like watching the Travel channel, TLC(What NOT to Wear!) Bravo(Project Runway!!), Food network, and E! whenever I'm deliberately trying to melt my brain. (Except for "The Soup" which is awesome.)

I also like Law and Order. (Who doesn't?)
