I'm currently owned by two Yorkies named Tucker and Cooper. They give me more joy than I ever believed possible. I'm a Texan born and raised, but have a great love for the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Laughing is my favorite activity.
Things I Like
I love colors all of them from bright and cheery to dark and rich. If I had to choose one it would be rich purples, but luckily I don't have to do that.
I love clean fresh scents like citrus and vanilla, and sometime cinnamon, but not into floral scents.
Love lighthouses, gerber daisys, sunflowers, cool breezes, yorkies (they rock), quilts, puzzles, ocean views, sleeping in on Saturday, laughing, zebra prints, Christmas lights, soft yarn, pineapple lifesavers, mexican food, quilt fabrics, starbucks frappacinos, fall weather, coach purses, suede, flip flops, chenille bedspreads, alfred gockle art, taking pictures, singing along with the radio and last but not least Jesus.
Hope this gives you some sense of who I am
I've done lots of different crafts over the years, but my current joy is quilting. I love fabric. I like how the same pattern can look so different based on the fabrics used.
Christian (MercyMe, Casting Crowns, Newsboys, Michael W. Smith), Country, Pop, Rock, Classical, Jazz, Swing, pretty much anything that has a good beat.
I could list 100 different ones, I love movies, but mostly comedys. Although my absolute favorites are old Doris Day, Rock Hudson, Cary Grant, and Elvis movies, I can watch them over and over. I don't like scary movies or really sad movies, I want to be entertained.
I tend to have the tv on a lot, but most of the time, I'm listening more than watching. I love old tv shows like Andy Griffin and Dick Van Dyke.
100% Cotton, good quaility fabric is my first request. After that, I like so much it's hard to list it all.
I do like designers Micheal Miller, Tula Pink, Amy Butler, Tula Pink, Heather Bailey, Tany Whelan, and Michele D'Amore. I like 1930's repro fabric and vintage fabrics. I like paisleys, swirls, polk dots and geometric prints. I like tone on tone prints and black and white (especially zebra prints). I love all colors, but my favorite combo is dusky lavender and chocolate brown. Moda Marbles are always welcome because they go with so many things.
I don't have a large stash, so I'm very easy to please.
Fat Quarters, Fat Eigths, and/or Fabric Squares 10" or larger (see above). Gutermann or Mettler 100% cotton threads. Journals/notebooks...I'm a list maker and I carry one with me all the time (would prefer them to be small enough to go in my purse). Pens, love them especially cool colors or fun shapes and mechanical pencils. Reusable totes/bags. Quilt magazines...new or used. Anything Yorkie.
Tiny scraps of fabric, anything less than 5x5. Tea, not really my thing. ATCs, matchboxes, stuffies and dotees are all wonderful, but not something I collect. No Kawaii.

I see you like Chenille. Maybe this will entice you back to the Bot?
Check out my swap.
Thank you for the awesome coasters. You did a great job!
For the Holidays
Thank you for the wonderful assortment of notecards and stamps from the list I posted at the wishlist group. Everything is lovely and will come in handy. I'm saving the stamps to decoupage a table and the notecards will go to a woman with cancer that I write to a couple times a week. I know that she'll enjoy the lovely cards.
Happy holidays and happy swapping
karen
