I am a sewer. I love anything to do with fabric (I love to touch fabric in the stores - hope that does not make me sound crazy!!!) I have made cloth dolls, polymer clay dolls, quilts and currently am ensuring my daughter will never run out of clothes.

I have also recently started knitting and would like to learn crochet.

I am a stay at home mum with two girls.One is 2 and the other is 4 months. When working I am a primary school teacher. I adore chocolate, though not dark chocolate as it gives me migraines:(. I am also partial to Allen's party mix lollies - perfect mix of the lollies I like.

I am from Melbourne, Australia and love it here. I love eating out and finding new shops.

I also love receiving mail in my letter box - that is why I have joined Swap-bot! Am sick of just getting bills!

DD1 turned 2 on August 7. She loves all animals - especially dogs! She seems to be attracted to bright colours. She does not like many characters eg: dora, barbie etc as she has not been much exposed to them. She also loves material, ribbons, knitted toys, paint with water books, gardening, hair ties and sticking stickers all over herself.

ETA: Since writing that she has discovered Maisie. We have to watch it every morning. So over it already.

DD2 was born on May 10 this year and has just started to roll over! YAY. She likes rattles :P She also seems to like material and wool - she grabs both items tightly.

Sorry my DP has put his foot down so am unable to post DD's names online anywhere except email. So I shall henceforth refer to DD1 as Alice (in wonderland) and DD2 as Belle (Beauty and the beast).

Hmm, a list of things I like: - surprises! - colours that are bright or clear as opposed to 'aged' (think tea dyed) or country - country music - Christine Feehan books (why, oh why, are they so hard to get here?) - cool trims and braids and ribbons - big knitting needles and chunky wool - variegated coloured things - a good hot chocolate - reading cooking magazines (with pictures! yum) and trying new recipes - animals and visiting zoos - historical romances - movies like; 10 things I hate about you, Penelope, Bring it on etc

Here are some things I do not like or am not into: - heavy metal music - peanut butter cups - tried one and sorry but not for me - coffee - prim things - country colours - ATC's and scrapbooking (cause DP would kill me if I started collecting more things!) - really long books cause at the moment I have very little time to concentrate! LOL - scary movies!

Things I am interested in at the moment: - cheapskate ideas to save money - cleaning products that are not toxic or dangerous to anything - swapping - knitting for charity - knitting dishcloths but getting kitchen cotton in Aust seems to be tricky. - knitting my first socks
