To get the basics out of the way - I am female, 32 years old, not married, no kids. :)

I am originally German, have lived in the States and the Netherlands and just returned to Hamburg, which I love. Along with me, my three ferrets Lotte, Buddy and Speedy moved with me.

I also volunteer at the local ferret shelter and really love my fuzzies.

When I am not busy with my ferrets or work, I just developed my love for making sock animals, especially monsters. They will soon be starring on my own website and Etsy Dawanda shop, so stay tuned! And of course I can surf the net for ages looking for inspiration and (Japanese) books.

I "grew up" with trance music and was quite a party animal in my days... but age takes its toll. When at home, I am rather eclectic, listening to anything from German swing to rock.

I'm addicted to "McLeod's Daughters", still enjoy watching my Ally McBeal and Friends collection and in general prefer the American series... easy-watching, I guess.

When it comes to documentaries, I really appreciate anything from BBC Exclusive.

I always enjoyed painting, usually in acrylics or oils, but somehow never got around to it. Since I discovered sock animals, I am finally getting back to the canvas as well - all my sock animals and monsters are getting their own little painting.

I will soon post more on the new website and Etsy/ Dawanda store... I am really excited about this.

You will usually find me in anything related to softies, reading, easy-to-make crafts. What I like to receive? Honestly, I do not know... I have no favorite color, no favorite smell - and I am just very curious to see what exciting things I will receive. :) Just don't send me celery... I don't like celery.
