I'm a new mama, knitting instructor, lapsed doodler, and thrift store browser who likes making stuff and getting mail.

Knitting and more knitting, a bit of crochet, doodling, sewing, polymer clay, and most recently sewing--especially baby clothes. I love making toys with any sort of supplies--from fiddly knitting patterns to filling an empty cardboard box with leaves (turning it upside down and watching the leaves scatter is a great toy when you're 6 months old!)

Watching too much TV (loving Lost, 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother, and Big Bang Theory, just-finally-finished Buffy, wish there was more Firefly, trying to find a supplier for a dose of Dollhouse; catching up on True Blood, but kind of over the vampire-with-a-heart-of-gold trend); reading mostly board books to a baby these days, and flipping through craft books; in a green and yellow mood lately, that changes daily so any colors are appreciated; lusting after Japanese fabrics, sock yarns and thrifted cute kitch.
