Hi! Just joining this Swap Site but I've been sewing and crafting since I was 12, and quilting for the last 15 years. I live in beautiful Seward, Alaska, and enjoy all that life up here has to offer. My town is little, we are lucky to have 1 tiny quilt shop. However, being limited to that one choice and having to drive 100+ miles for any other options makes swapping appeal to me! I love to sew & quilt, I'm a Moda fanatic and also love batiks. love to crochet, learning to spin yarn too.
I lead a Girl Scout troop for 6th graders. I teach sewing, cooking, crafts to girls 12 & up in our Church youth group. We've done group baby quilts for moms with new babies, jams & jellies, carryall bags, make-a-monster creations and fun stuff like bath fizzles and sugar scrubs for softer hands.
I LOVE to camp, love my cast iron cookware, have 1 small dog, and one teensy cat. 2 daughters, age 11 & 15. Plus a husband, so 5 kids total.
Totally new to this swapping thing, but fairly experienced at sewing, quilting, crochet and baking!
