I am 41 years old and live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I love my job as a hospice nurse. There's nothing else I'd rather do. I am married to the love of my life, Brandon. We have 2 very spoiled dogs ;) A Lab/pit mix named Callie and a 1 year old hound mix puppy named Shepard.
I love all kinds of music. It really depends on what mood I'm in. Right now I'm binging the Hamilton soundtrack, Jason Isbell, and the A Star is Born soundtrack. I have to admit, Top 40 is not my favorite.
if you took a listen to my ipod you'd find everything from Nine Inch Nails to Etta James to Naughty By Nature.
I absolutely adore Horror novels. The first novel I ever read was Stephen King's Cujo. It scared me simple and I was hooked :) I also like to read Dean Koontz.
Recently one of my friends got my hooked on...I hate to admit it...romance novels!!! I'm partial to Karen Marie Moning and I've also been enjoying Kelley Armstrong and JR Ward.
I like my movies like I like my books..scary!! If it's got Zombies in it then I've seen it. I grew up near Pittsburgh so I've been a huge fan of George Romero since birth. The very first movie I remember watching was Poltergeist. My mother took pictures to document me scared out of my wits. Needless to say I've been a horror junkie from that point forward. Poltergeist is still in my top 5 movies.
I am a HUGE fan of Joss Whedon. I was devastated when Firefly was canceled and elated when the movie came out. I, of course, watched Dollhouse, which was also canceled. If you haven't had a chance to see Dr.Horrible then I suggest you do it now! Joss can really do no wrong in my book.
Hello, my name is Amanda and I'm a craftaholic. :) I love all crafty things. Sewing, crocheting, knitting, painting, etc. Right now I'm renovating a dollhouse my friend gave to me. I'm turning it into a haunted mansion! I've also just started making mixed media art. I am in love with the Tim Holtz distress oxide inks!
I love postcards. I am also a member of postcrossing, which is very addicting! I haven't turned away any postcard. But I do have 2 specific collections. I collect native american/native peoples and old photograph postcards. One of my favorite cards is of a dancing Zulu Warrior complements of a swapper on postcrossing.
