Hi! I'm Sheila. I currently live in Arizona with my husband and my two sons. My greatest joy in life is my family.
I love trying new things, listening to music, cooking new recipes, crafting, writing, reading and I LOVE mail.
I enjoy traveling anywhere I can. Road trips are the best!
I am a life long learner. My current interests are health, Spanish and child development. I want to instill a love of learning in my boys.
I love singer/songwriters, folk, worship, spanish music and anything I can dance to.
I love children's and young adult books, murder mysteries, memoirs, and kid's Spanish books.
The Giver, Harry Potter, The Little Prince, Peter Pan.
I currently read a lot of parenting and homeschooling books. I'm always looking for tips.
ATCs, anything hand drawn or painted, and photography (I enjoy getting it, I would love to learn how to be a great photographer.)
I love trees, cranes, mountains, deserts, earth tones, grays, navy, wood, copper, and rustic designs.
I'm currently obsessed with The Greatest Showman. I will always love Labyrinth, Lord of the Rings, You've Got Mail, Princess Bride, all the Bourne movies, Pan's Labyrinth, Megamind, Trolls and Coco.
The Office, New Girl, This Is Us, The Chew, Psych Longmire, and Battlestar Galactica.
I am very interested in health and am always happy to hear testimonies, tips or connect with people who have battled chronic illness through eating and lifestyle changes. I'm interested in Whole30, AIP, essential oils, homeopathy, and functional medicine.
I'm also, slowly, beginning the homeschool journey with my kids. I'm not doing anything formal yet but i am using this time to learn about the approach i'd like to take. I love tips. I have been drawn to Charlotte Mason and similar philosophies.
Tea, coffee, almonds, coconut and honey. Also, traditional Mexican culture and design, paper cranes, pens, washi tape, and note cards.
Gluten, winter, corn syrup, overly violent or scary things.
