About Me

I live in Southern California. I love sewing, quilting, embroidery and smocking. My favorite patterns are ones that I have purchased from small pattern companies. I love anything with a moose on it.

Favorite Music

My favorite music is Classical, I just discovered Schubert piano sonatas.

Favorite Books

My favorite books are the ones that I have just finished or have just started. I am taking a small break from teaching, and I read children's literature and picture books. I just finished The Secret Pawn Broker by Higgins, and have started Coraline. I read Japanese anime, my favorite are Naruto and Hikaru no go.

Favorite Candy

My favorite candy is licorice and chocolate. I am not a big marzipan fan, and fudge gives me a headache.

Favorite Crafts

I sew clothes for my Daughter. I love to create quilts, although I don't follow other peoples patterns often. I have made a few patterns for American Girl Dolls, and stuffed animal that live in our house.

I love buttons and Matryoshka nesting dolls. I like ribion with pictures on it. I am looking for some fun moose embroidery transfers.

I don't need embroidery thread.
