Hi! I'm a 30-something single girl from Brisbane, Australia. I love all things writing, crafting and stationery, although totally acknowledge that I am still learning when it comes to some crafting skills. My favourite colour is purple and I love anything with stars. This seasons obsession with printing tropical fruits on everything also makes me happy :)

If I can't send something on time I'll PM you to let you know - this will be extremely rare as I won't commit to swaps that I don't think I can complete on schedule.

I have always been a massive history buff - anything from ancient civilisations through to medieval times is where my real passion lies, but I have recently been enjoying learning some modern history, especially through podcasts, my favourites being 'Stuff You Missed in History Class' and Dan Carlin's 'Hardcore History'.

I'm also fascinated with religions - their origins, their stories and how they are interwoven with secular history and human development.

My current favourites are the Jack Reacher books by Lee Child, The Power of One by Bryce Courtney, The Daughter of the Forest Trilogy by Juliet Marillier.

Generally I like a bit of fantasy, a bit of action and a sprinkling of chick lit to keep me entertained on holidays.

Netflix mad - currently watching Jane the Virgin, How To Get Away With Murder, Parks and Recreation and X-Files.

Recently heartbroken because Star-Crossed and Reckless were cancelled after one season.

Long time favourites include The West Wing, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dawson's Creek. Will happily binge these for days!

Lots and lots and lots but my favourite band of all time is Lifehouse, closely followed by Sister Hazel, The Script, Train, and U2.. and a lot of indie stuff that no one has ever heard of. Also I love country music - don't judge!

I love funny, cartoony things. Also literary postcards with quotes etc. I'm a total word nerd. I prefer not to receive blank tourist postcards.

I'm not a huge fan of black tea.. red, green and white are good, and I love fruit infusions. Allergic to mango though, not that I can picture someone putting mango in tea!
