About Me

Hi friends! It's been a hot minute since I was around! I just went to look at my profile and I was 32 last I was on here.. Now I"m 38.5!! My how time flies when you are having fun! I now have 3 children and still have a Newfoundland dog! My current Newfie is named Daisy and she is a rescue. I still love sunflowers and sewing. I now have a sewing business called Cookie on the Loose and make kids clothes and Women's knotted headbands. Due to the current virus though I've stopped most of my shop and am now making disposable masks for healthcare workers with the PPE shortage. So if you have elastic, cotton or buttons... I'll take it in place of a bookmark etc. I'm putting buttons on my headbands so nurses don't have to have the elastic around their ears all ay. Ahhh how life has changed in the last month. I'm back to add some happiness into my week. Fun mail coming and going. Bright spots to add back into my week!

Likes and Preferences

I love sunflowers, dogs (especially newfoundlands), fabric, and cutesy things. I'm definitely a girly girl. Favorite colors are pink and green. Love writing letters, getting letters, and meeting new people. My favorite fabrics are soft flannels, but I love all fabric even scraps! I love the lake and water.

Love new recipes especially handwritten!
PURPLE INK PENS!!! I love to write in purple for some reason!!! LOVE pens that write in purple!!!

Sewing - I love working with knits to make my kids fun rompers and cool clothes. I love collecting old vintage sewing supplies.

Favorite Books

Pride and Prejudice, Little Women, The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, The art of Racing in the Rain, Harry Potter and recently finished The Mysterious Benedict Society.

Likes

Handwritten notes, letters or cards. Fabric of any kind or color. Cutesy animal things or cute little monster stickers, pictures or fabric.. Love dogs, cats, owls, fox and dinosaurs. LOVE coffee! Cute pictures or drawings of whimsical people with animals. Recipes!!! Essential oils, mint and calming tea, stationary, or fabric from where you are from would be absolutely amazing!

Always looking for cute new Washi tape.

Sugar free or artificial sweeteners. I get headaches from them and really don't like any artificial sweeteners!

Tea

I love all mint teas. I always enjoy green, black and white teas. LOVE any teas for de-stressing and relaxing!
