APRIL 4, 2014: LIFE-UPDATE...Thanks so much everyone for your patience in waiting for message responses, waiting for swaps, waiting for me to rate you and waiting for me to post new swaps. Most of all thank you everyone for your prayers for my father-in-law as he battles with prostate cancer. At this point, we are being told to make him comfortable. And that we are doing with all our might. It has taken a toll on our family but we're still hanging in there. I have answered some messages, and have rated most of your swaps to me. ABOUT ME: I am a married chic and recent stay-at-home Mom of 5 beautiful kiddos 19, 12, 12, 10 and 8. We live near the beach and tend to play there as much as possible! I'm a "shiny happy people holding hands" kind of person! I'm one of those people that you meet in the street and it seems like you've known me all my life! And YEP I do see life through ROSE colored glasses! :)

I am a Christian and much happier because of it! This is also the MOST IMPORTANT reason why I chose the swap name RECYCLEDSOUL, because as the old church hymn lyrics go...I once was lost but now I'm found! I was blind but now I see! So would WELCOME the receipt of anything Christian related. I collect old Bibles, bookmarks, and old vintage Bible commentaries.

My favorite colors are pink, green, aquamarine blue, yellow, orange, gold and silver. I love everything around me to be cheerful and bright! And these colors are best complimented with something burlap, black and white for that vintage touch!

I love to write ANYTHING! Letters, cards, notecards, postcards, calligraphy, signs, poems...you name it. So any interesting looking pen, fountain pen, calligraphy pen, paint pen, Sharpie Markers, Sharpie Fabric Markers, mechanical pencil, drawing pencil, coloring pencil I would absolutely love!

My favorite birds are PEACOCKS! My house is decorated with them and their feathers! I also LOVE OWLS, ravens and crows. I love the dove also, as it is a symbol of the Holy Spirit.

My favorite animals are pigs, rabbits, giraffes, pit-bulls, boxers and bulldogs.

I also collect game pieces, any size journal, brooches (breast pins), old b/w photos, mannequins (have a spot in a antique boutique...even love the tabletop mannequins...use them as pin cushions), postcards, old love letters, globes, vintage or antique reading glasses, ANYTHING LACE; vintage analog clocks and watches, vintage maps, vintage cameras, antique binoculars, antique magnifying glasses, dolls, old jewelry (even broken jewelry), pocket watches, aprons, frogs, rabbits, ANYTHING ALICE IN WONDERLAND, ANYTHING DR. SEUSS, bling, sequence, LOTS OF RHINESTONES, ALL THAT'S VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE, vintage tea/coffee sets, antique dishes, vintage clothing patterns (especially Size 14 but will gladly take any size...anything 1970's style and older only), store bought feathers, brocade fabric, EVERYTHING PEPPERMINT-(like candles, lotions, body spray, actual candy peppermints, soap, etc.) lace, buttons, SMASH journal stuff. JUST STARTED SEWING...so fabric, zippers, hook & eyes, thread of any kind, RED TOILE ANYTHING, TOILE PRINT ANY COLOR, anything red or wine for my kitchen, candles that look like pastries, and miniature wreaths and ANY PRODUCTS MADE BY BODY AND BATH WORKS especially any fruity fragrance or TWISTED PEPPERMINT, CROWNS, CROWNS, TIARAS AND MORE CROWNS would be appreciated!

Since my maiden name means "DWELLER BY THE ELM TREE" I LOVE and COLLECT TREES! I ESPECIALLY LOVE Elm Trees, Bonsai, Japanese Maple, Dogwood, Topiary, all bushes and all other trees!

I DON'T LIKE: * Perfume (makes me sneeze) * ALLERGIC TO ANYTHING Made With Plant or Scent of Lavender * Make-up (breaks me out) * Devil/demon/skull stuff * Cigarette smoke * Pet hair * Anything caramel * Dirty, weird smell, greasy stuff
