Back after a long hiatus.
I am a domestic violence survivor and that is an important part of how I see my world now. I was abused for sixteen years. I’m finally free and it makes me so greatful.
I’m exploring what I like. I’ve come to recognize that so much of my choices had revolved around this other person that controlled my options.
So here is what I know about me.
I love chocolate but not white chocolate.
I am intensely shy right now but that not how I started out. I love bath stuff. I have an amazing bathtub and most days I turn to it for comfort. I am a genuinely happy person though I’ve been crying a lot lately. I like beautiful things.I especially love texture and fabric. I love to cook, especially silly extravagant things. I have pierced ears and love dangly earrings but they get infected by most ear wires and hooks.
I have been an herbal medicine practitioner for over twenty years, and though that dwindled for some time it never stopped. It is a huge passion of mine and continues to be.
I love costuming and wearing costumes. I adore history, genealogy, and British period dramas. I want to connect deeper into all of these things.
I also have an obsession with hand knot wool socks. (Though I can't knit them myself... which is sad)
