I am a Canadian University student who loves crafting, irish whiskey, dogs, space, and sunsets. Though I sadly do not have any pets of my own due to not having enough time to spend with them, I do buy pork bones for a family of crows that live near my apartment building and feed the pigeons who come to visit me on my balcony. I also have an assortment of cacti and succulents .
I am currently trying to send and receive ATC's from as many countries as I can and so far I have sent and received cards from:
-Canada
-The United States
-England
-Finland
-The Netherlands
-South Africa
-Singapore
I would love to add more countries to this list so if you love ATC's and want to trade please feel free to message me!
I have swapped ATC's as well as other crafts in the past but have only recently decided to get back into it. I am always open to personal trades so please feel free to message me if you are interested!
I have an Instagram account dedicated to my art for anyone who is interested, and my username is qkenziee.
If any of my swaps do not arrive please contact me and I will gladly resend. I will always rate as soon as I receive any package.
ATC's are my favourite crafts at the moment however I also make altered books and have been working on my Wreck this Journal for 4 years now, I am not sure I'll ever be finished at this rate!
My preferred medium to create in is mixed media collage however I have recently been trying my hand at hand-drawn or hand-painted works as well.
I am also currently trying to teach myself embroidery and have done some knitting in the past. Most of my knitting projects were relatively simple but I have made a few more complex knitted weiner dogs that I am quite proud of!
I love Jefferson Airplane, the Grateful Dead, the Beatles, Janis Joplin, Big Brother and the Holding Company, the Velvet Underground, Crosby Nash Steels and Young, Joni Mitchell, That Handsome Devil, Nora Jones, Yes, Electric Light Orchestra, Death Cab for Cutie, Weezer, Modest Mouse, The Andrew Sisters, Adele,The Sword, AC/DC, ZZ Top, Bing Crosby, and many others.
I am not a fan of anime style art or bible verses. I also don't care for cute, chibi style animals or people, no offense intended to anyone who creates art in these styles, it is just not something I generally collect. Please do not send flimsy ATC's or cards with stickers slapped on a background. Neon colours are also not my favourite however if they are added tastefully in small sections of a work all is well. Additionally please do not send anything with sugar or ginger as I don't eat sugar and cannot stand ginger. I am also afraid of monkeys so please nothing with monkeys on it.
Bones, secrets, anatomical hearts, old keys, mixed media collage of all kinds, vintage style, astronomy, landscapes from other planets, "offensive" cards (swear words, nudity, insults), surreal landscapes, flowers (especially pansies), penny farthings, space, apples, and crows.
I am not all that fond of watching TV and I do not have one but on occasion I will watch Netflix or shows on my laptop and some that I have found to be of interest include BBC Sherlock, American Horror Story, Murdoch Mysteries, and Incredibly Close and Extremely Loud.
-ATC's, of course!
-Ephemera of all kinds (vintage magazine cutouts are always a hit!)
-Small shiny or interesting objects
-ATC blanks
-Uncancelled American postage
-Cancelled American forever stamps (the moon ones)
-Embellishments including but not limited to flowers, keys, gears, beads, bits of glass etc
-Tiny brads (those duotang pin things)
-Dried flowers or interesting leafs (though I am not sure if these can be sent Internationally)
-Lace and doilies
-Cards and envelopes
-Pretty or interesting rocks

As an English and Philosophy major I LOVE reading! Unfortunately, I have been unable to find any way of extending the hours in a day so that I can actually get some non-school related reading in, but I'm working on it! Some of my favourites include Jane Eyre, The Yellow Wallpaper, The Secret Garden, Gone With the Wind, The Bell Jar, Fahrenheit 451, Catcher in the Rye, David Copperfield, A Little Princess, and tons more that aren't coming to mind at the moment.
