I make changes to my profile often, so please keep that in mind and revisit if you are partnered with me more than once.
My name is Kathleen and I live in central-southwestern Illinois. Almost just across the mighty Mississippi River from St. Louis Missouri.
I just celebrated a 35th anniversary of writing to one pen pal in Canada. We grew up together through letters, what an amazing journey.
I enjoy traveling, domestic and international. I have been to England five times, and can't get enough of the culture or castles. I am a true Anglophile. I've also been to France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, Scotland, Wales, Mexico, Canada, Bahamas. I've been to 22 states.
My most recent trip was a 20 hour drive from Illinois to the Texas coast, more precisely Padre Island, with a niece and nephew, both 18 just graduated from high school. Future traveling desires: South Pacific Islands, Australia, Kenya & Tanzania (photo safari) and Japan.
I consider myself an environmentalist and conservationist. We must save and protect our resources and planet earth. We as a nation are horrible to the planet we not only live on, but share with the world. We as a nation should lead the way to global healing. It all starts with one person at a time, so step up America!. Yes, I'm a tree hugger, full of passion too.
