I am married and between us we have 8 children. Only 2 at home. 2 boys in the Marines and one searching for a way to get into the fireservice.
I am not employed now so that means I do odd jobs. I love to read and create. There aren't enough hours in the day...
I am active in Church, and a 3-day community. I love passing on what has been given me. I have found you can't out-give God.
I play the guitar and music helps calm my world. I am also a wannabe gardener. I am always late getting it in but stuff always grows and it is a surprise what we end up with. One year we had wonderful beet greens in Nov.
I listen to all varieties of Christain music. Some days I have to crank it up and pound out the day others need a soothing touch.
How do I even pick a favorite? I just keep adding them on. I am intrigued with color and texture. I started with sewing and needlework at 7 and it has been downhill from there.
I love playing with fabric but have found the joy in paper. Much more instant gratification I enjoy the social aspects of scrapbooking and hope one day my children enjoy the stories, If I can get them all down.
I sometimes paint, sometimes well others not so. Clay therapy is wonderful but I don't do it enough. I have a secret desire to make jewlery, metal and stones... I don't think I have enough room to add a totally new craft. Yet there are such cool tools.
