34, NC, USA, Mom of 4 boys, degree in photography, love arts & crafts of all kinds.

Some of my fav's are enya, cranberries, sarah mclachlan, jewel...etc....I like a large variety: modern country, techno, rock, alternative pop, classical, cont. christian. I was in band and chorus in high school and college. I played clarinet, bass clarinet, trumpet(briefly), sax(briefly) and piano. I'm slowly adding mp3s so that hopefully I can begin walking daily at some point when I quit procrastinating. One of my goals is to learn to play the guitar and chello.

I don't read as much as I used to but my favorites authors are JK Rowling, Danielle Steele, Nora Roberts, LM Montgomery, Laura Ingalls(& "ghost" writers are ok), Madeleine L'Engle...

Harry Potter, Ever After, Disney, Pretty Woman, Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensability, Titanic...you get the picture

Where to begin? I was a photo major so naturally photography of any kind and graphic design, paper arts(scrapbooking and stamping are big ones although I don't have much time with 4 little ones) In the past I've done embroidery, macrame, weaving, painting, jewelry& beads, mosaics. My most recent projects were a Gryffindor scarf (for my 6 yo which I learned to do on a knitting loom) and sewing his robes.

I don't really enjoy sewing or woodwork much they just are not my thing really.

I'd like to learn more about clay and jewelry making(seperately and/or together). Also working on learning more advanced loom knitting techniques.

I think I go through phases of colors right now I'm into the "hip" pink/turquoise/brown color combinations but I've also been known to combine hot pink and black or red and black.... The only color I don't like much is certain shades of green but in their place they are okay also.

Candy...yummm ...Chocolate.... I love anything Hotel Chocolat and See's California nugget(or gold something like that) reese's, skor and Ferrero Rocher are my normal indulgances. I don't really care for coffee other than Frappachino style. The only kind of tea I drink is sweetened iced.

antique old cameras, scrapbooking materials(paper, stamps, string/yarn, stickers, used letter stamps, etc), costume props (ex. fancy umbrellas, fans, etc), my kids momentos(I'm a pack rat for these)

Growing up I collected snow globes, unicorns, ceramic figures and shoes.

• I read the last book wahhh in apx 12 hours...loved it for the most part...
• I LOVE all things Harry Potter...
• According to the sorting hat I'm a HUFFLEPUFF!!! [Proud Hufflepuff here]...I don't have any house stuff at all yet.
• According to the character match I'm Neville
• My favorite character is Tonks (I think I'm most like her personality wise)
• I went to the book release with my 6y.o. he was Harry and won 2nd place in the costume contest we were 2nd in line for the book...very magical night.
• I've seen all the movies(3 while in theater)and own all the DVDs
• Dobby is adorable and I have always loved unicorns
• I'm hoping for a new series of some kind by Jo in the future.
