I have a home daycare and I enjoy crafting, cooking and gardening with kids as well as learning about educational issues and how we can get kids outside as much as possible.

I like to read, garden, run & be outside as much as I can. I'm a tea drinker by nature, coffee drinker by necessity. I keep an art journal and dabble in knitting, sewing and whatever other crafts come my way.

Little Women. I was an English nerd in a prior life. I've read the classics, love the classics, but postmodern criticism drove me away and I could never find the perfect job that would pay me to read for pleasure all day. I enjoy the occasional Maeve Binchy novel and I read the New Yorker every week. But nowadays I read how to books - crafts, cooking, gardening, teaching.

Amelie and It's a Wonderful Life

Mad Men, 6 Feet Under, Pushing Daisies, 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Gilmore Girls. Quirky shows with lots of dialogue and a high probability of being cancelled.

Colors and flowers. Birds - peacocks, flamingos & owls. Elephants and pandas. Old advertisements. Humor of the sarcastic/satiric variety. I collect plastic snowglobes, teatowels, & Christmas ornaments.

I'll try anything once, but I don't like licorice, anise, or peppers.
