I am a mom to an incredible little girl and wife to an incredible man. I work at a cloth diapering store part time and I enjoy sewing, crochet, crosswords and reading. I'm pretty new to sewing, but I've got gumption! I tend to dislike super bright colors, more on the neon spectrum, but I like most pinks and sage green. I'm a saved Christian and my faith is incredibly important to me. My favorite Bible verse is Isiah 41:10: "Fear not, for I am with you." I collect owls and Pez dispensers. I've been collecting owls for about four years, after my grandmother passed away, she left me her collection and that got me started. I have no allergies, but I DO have three cats. I would be happy with anything someone would be inclined to send, I love to see people's different interpretations of a theme. I'm go to school for professional writing. I was very close to a teaching degree before I figured out that I really didn't like it. So, I had to start over. Oh well!

Patsy Cline, The Cure, Soundtracks to various musicals: Rent, Hairspray, West Side Story, etc, etc., Leeland, Radiohead, MercyMe, Toby Mac. I have really eclectic tastes in music and I tend to move in "phases." I just got out of a Postal Service phase, as a matter of fact. :D

Anything by Ray Bradbury, Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, The Novelist by Angela Hunt. I'm one of those people who can't leave anything unfinished, so, I need a solid block of time to read. Once I start a book, I rarely leave it alone until it's finished.

My all time favorite movie is The Nightmare Before Christmas. Also: Amelie, Wit, Juno, Waitress. I have to be in a special mood to sit down and watch a movie. Usually, I'm too concerned with what's on my To-Do list. I guess that's a job hazard when you're a mom.

Sewing, crochet, embroidery, needle felting, some paper crafts. I like to dabble in most things. I like Alexander Henry and Michael Miller fabrics. I would really like to get into resin, but I just havent picked up the supplies yet. I've recently gotten an interest in weaving, so, I'd like to learn to do that too. I started doing embroidery when I was on bed rest with my daughter and I really love it. However, I don't like most other needle and thread activities, like cross stitch and needle punch. I started sewing within the past year and am slowly gaining more skill. I still havent really mastered zippers, but I install them anyway. I would like to receive anything from anyone. I like handmade and non handmade items.
