Well, I guess I did miss posting on your wall. No idea how I managed to do that. -boggle- Thank you so much for reminding me. I would have felt bad had I missed you. I hope your Christmas was good and that you had a great start to your new years. I just had my daughter visiting from out of the country for 20 days so am scrambling to catch up on penpals and swaps! It is pure craziness but then sometimes we need some craziness in our lives! Have a great day!

As a believer, we stand holy and blameless. This doesn’t mean we are perfect – most of us have a long way to go – but we ought to be striving to be more Christ-like. A New Year's resolution to "reform" behavior is not the answer. What is needed is TRANSFORMATION. Paul writes in Romans 12:2 to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God." One of my favorite passages of scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and rely not on your own understanding; think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths. Let the Holy Spirit, that lives in you, guide your thoughts and decisions and actions.
Praying God's love shines bright in your new year...and His blessings overflow. Romans 5:5
And may every day of the new year glow with good cheer and happiness for you and your family.
Should you be brought low by an unkindness, just brush it off your shoulders and carry on.
Practice:
thinking deeply
speaking gently
loving much
laughing a lot
working harder
giving more freely
and being kind, (even if someone doesn't deserve your kindness.
For I believe, in doing all of this that it will all be returned to you.
May abundant blessings be yours in the new year.
