I am a single mum of 2 beautiful children (boy8 girl 12months). I am an ambulance paramedic, working parttime.
I love craft, and try to fit an hour of it in every day, along with a bit of exercise, vegie patch maintenance and lots of laughs. I have a laid back, untidy home.... I rent a room to international students that usually come from Asia and enjoy cooking for them. Current craft projects include, 3 quilts, christmas cards and have just done a sewing course, so my son has benefited with 3 pairs of cargo pants. I hope Santa brings me an overlocker this christmas, but if he doesn't I am happy to wait until the sales to nab one at just the right price. I am very excited about the holiday ornament swap, and hope my ornaments aren't too basic.. I'd hate it if the recipients thought they were lame.
I am not yet 40, but listen to the golden oldies on the radio... and sometimes switch to the gay station just to see what the cool people are listening to...
I don't have the attention span to read many books now, as soon as my head hits the pillow I am out like a light... Have been flicking through parenting books and holiday craft magazines lately though. I love, love, love movies and will watch anything while I sew. Fave genre is Horror ( particularly zombie movies) but will also pay to see run of the mill romantic comedy and arthouse flicks.

I always watch Survivor.

I am the proud mortgagee of a quarter acre block with 3 bedroom house about 14kms from Melbourne... I have crammed 5 chooks, 2 ducks, a cat, a mouse, 2 kids, 1 tenant and a vegie patch within the boundaries... Life is hectic but fun.

I would love to receive any ribbons, brads, sequins, fabric squares, cloth patches, rubber stamps, lace, braid, buttons, barbie dolls clothes, lego people Holly Hobbie teatowels, miniature anything board games fancy papers/card stock, organic vegie seeds, Survivor memorabilia ... Is that too much???? Hmmm, I am on the lookout for other peoples wish lists so I can make people smile by sending them things they would like to receive too...

I don't like or want any sci fi stuff anything made in china, taiwan, mexico bratz anything mainstream licensed stuff unless pre 1970 Sports stuff Plastic animals (unless smaller than a nickel)

A dozen plus used Australian emergency services cloth patches (shoulder badges) from my job, but I can't start a swap until I have enough feedback... So if you want one of these just PM me and I will post to you. : )
