Hi there- My name is Liz and I live in Los Angeles. I've been quilting on and off over the past 15 years. With the rise of social media and modern quilting, I've become enthusiastic about quilting and sewing again. I work as a Script Supervisor for commercials and low-budget feature films. I enjoy modern quilting and have a very clean aesthetic. I also love food, wine and travel (Spain is my favorite destination). I'm excited to be part of a swap, and to connect with other quilters and sewers from around the world. No matter what I receive, I'll love it because someone made it. xo @liz_made on instagram
I really don't have a favorite Farmer's Wife block so far, I really do love them all! My favorite colors are in the blue family...my sewing room is painted a bluish/teal color with white furniture. I'm a sucker for anything from Alison Glass or Cotton & Steel. But any color family is fine!! The only thing I would say I don't like are blocks that are very scrappy that don't have a lot of contrast.
Inclusions? Umm....Local chocolate would be cool! Or cookies! Some kind of local food (no allergies). If it's international....a fat quarter of fabric from your local quilt shop? Especially if it's a fabric the shop has designed themselves. And a zipper so I can make a zippered pouch. Can't wait to see what comes!!
