Hello Swappers ,
I would like to introduce myself to you. My name of course is Janet Bullard and I am a former home school mom and a military wife, live in a small town, Union, Mississippi. In addition, married over thirty years to Mitchell, a wonderful man. He spoils me rotten and I really do not mind it at all.
I type all of my letters. Typing is a lot faster and I can go back and add anything I left out. I hope that it will be OK. On occasion, I may hand write, if I get stationery that will not go through my printer.
I am NOT much of a shopper. I rather take it by spells. It depends on if I am looking for horse tack, computer supplies, pen pal stuff, sewing (quilting) supplies, buying for Christmas or something I am really interested in; but, to just go "shopping"Âť for the sake of shopping and getting out of the house --- count me out. Just shoot me and get it over! Put me out of my misery now! Do not make me just linger on in sheer torment. Are you a shopper?
Hobbies include pen palling, quilting, sewing, painting, horseback riding, gardening, the outdoors, and too much more to list. Also, I enjoy swapping Stationery, Quilt Quarters, Memory Book Supplies, Pot Holders, Stickers, Quilt Block Patch, Calling Cards, Recipes, Cards, Bookmarks, Doilies, Kitchen Towels, Seed Packets, FB's, Journals, and Story Writing.
I love gardening. In the spring, I live for the seed catalogs to start filling my mailbox.
I have my own internet marketing business and love working for myself.
However, usually you can find me on the computer late at night, with exception to gardening time, and then my time divided between the garden, kitchen, household chores, church, internet marketing, our horses, and anything else. I have gotten so busy that I have to write everything down. Age, I suppose is about to catch up with me. :))
I am pretty much a country girl, as I consider myself nothing more than an educated redneck. Ha! Ha!
I started pen palling about seven years ago after I came home for a while. Mostly, to friends I have had for years, some since high school. Then I decided to look for pen pals outside of close friends. They are located in England, Australia, several US states, Nepal, Canada, and Netherlands. This past Christmas, cards covered our wall above the TV. Cards from various parts of the world, some were handmade while others had stickers and decorations placed inside. I even had to translate one. I felt so blessed to have that many friends. Before then, I would just pick up the phone and call when I wanted to chat.
I really like going to the post office and finding letters. It makes me think back to what people many years ago felt when they would get in their buckboards or wagons and go to town to get supplies and see if they had a letter waiting or to post one to a family member. I believe you get the same feeling now. My goal is to have pen pals from each of the states and as many countries as possible. How long have you pen palled and do you have many women you write to?
I have been involved with Internet Marketing and online publishing for several years. I decided to expand my letter writing to include new friends from all over. In addition, I started a new pen pal site, Christian Pen Pal Newsletter, http://www.penpalezine.com.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Janet Bullard P. O. Box 401 Union, MS 39365-0401

I love contemporary as well as gospel Christian music.
My favorite authors are Jan Karon, Beverly Lewis, Irene Hannon, Jerry B. Jenkins, and some more.
I love to quilt and my "in progress" projects show it. Also, I have "stashes" and they are very important. Some of my fabrics may dry rot before I ever get to make a quilt or wall hanging out of it, but that is OK. Any types of quilting supplies, I love!
I grew up on John Wayne and Charleston Heston movies.

Hey there! I received your FQ from the NFS WTA today - bright, beautiful, vibrant fabric - thank you so much. I see that we have a few things in common, among them age (well, I was born in '64 but close enough!), homeschooling (I did for a couple of years before finding an arts-immersion small school for my kids), and of course quilting. Very nice to be in a great group like this, such nice people. Thank you very much.
