I'm 23, I live in Cardiff (Wales) with my parents atm as I'm job hunting. I recently left the Navy due to some medical problems + I'm hating being unemployed. I love to shop and also am really getting into swapping atm. I'm not very creative at art + craft type stuff but I love cooking + baking. Hopefully I'll learn some new crafty skills here + I'll get better :) I love to get all sorts of things in the mail as it just brightens my day.I love the look of vintage but this is a recent love so I don't own any yet and am just having fun window shopping as it were, I'll probably start small so hair clips and fascinators as it's not my house + I don't have a lot of space.

I love watching films and I rent a lot of them, I love cartoons and animated kids type films, they just make me smile. I love foreign films particularly french and Japanese, I like martial arts films, comedies, action films, fantasy and sci-fi.

I enjoy listening to all kinda of music, I mostly have the radio on so I don't have to pick things myself. I love going to see live bands and festivals although this year I will mostly be watching on tv as it's too pricey for me to go.

I love to read and will read almost anything and any genre. I adore crime books + I have all Patricia Cornwalls and Kathy Reichs. I love Terry Pratchet's and am collecting them. I like reading about different cultures to my own so I am building a collection of far east and middle eastern books, both fiction and non. I love autobiographical type books and books I can loose myself in and escape from reality. I enjoy chick-lit as a kind of holiday for my brain :)

I don't watch a great deal of television as I mostly watch things on the internet catchup's like BBC iplayer and ITV's catch-up. I enjoy the occasional documentary, am currently watching the South Pacific series on BBC2. I like Gossip Girl, Charmed, Bones, all the CSI's, The L Word but I buy these or rent them so I can watch when I want to and not miss them on tv :S

Likes: coffee - all flavors, chocolate (dark and milk) and sweets, nuts, animals (except cats), stars, fairy's, unicorns, butterfly's,squirrels, tattoos, tongue studs, flowers, hair clips, snoopy, unusual items ie things I can't get in the UK like sweets and make-up related, flavored teas, nail varnish, postcards, black and white art prints, fashion magazines, my favorite colors are green and purple, I love things that sparkle I love silver jewelery. I collect silver charms, fridge magnets, postcards that are written on and stamped, recipes and cookbooks. I would love to learn more about other peoples cultures and religions, am particularly fascinated by the far east atm :) I adore anything mystical and magical especially magical creatures, folk lore and legends, Celtic and viking mythology. Anything at all personal and handmade I go mad for :)

Dislikes: pink, bananas in any form, white chocolate

Allergies: I'm not allergic to anything but I am lactose intolerant which means that things with milk in make me sick but I still eat choc and cheese I just live with the consequences :S

I'm not very crafty at the moment but I'd like to learn and try a few things out. I can cross stitch, cook and bake and sew simple things with good instructions. Am trying my hand at ATC's for the first time + I think I could really get into it. I'd like to learn to scrapbook and really get into that and I'd like to learn how to make handmade letter paper and envelopes.
