So a little about me. I've recently retired and despite spending most of my career as the numbers and detail person I found that I love to exercise my creative side. I don't remember how I found ATC's but I have become addicted. I typically do collage as I don't draw but have found it to be very fun and versatile. I'm open to all types of swaps but if asked my favorites I'd say anything Beatles related or coffee related. Youtube is my new bff and I've learned so many great techniques. Love to make and receive origami and anything with interesting backgrounds. I've tried several including watercolor, dendritic printing and a paint brush made from toilet paper roll. I can no longer throw anything away and have incorporated everything from photos to newspaper to napkins to tissue boxes into my cards.
As mentioned I love the Beatles. They will always be my number one but my daughter introduced my to hip hop/rap and I am now a fan and after watching several seasons of The Voice Blake Shelton has turned me on to country.
Not reading much these days as my time is devoted to making ATC's but I did read Big Little Lies way before the TV version and loved it.
I will admit I like to watch TV. Sometimes just for the noise but I really do like The Voice and This is Us.
Crafting is my new jam. I was lucky to take over a space in my house that is large enough for all the supplies I have accumulated in the past several months. First I called it my art space. I'm learning to say studio--haha.
I call myself a collagonista and that is my main focus since I cannot draw. I save everything and most of it makes its way into my ATC's.
I'm a big fan of origami and did a series called Little Buddies that was different themed shirts.
I had one x-rated trade which I knew was x-rated so not someone sneaking up on me. I liked it because it was very clever and arty. I love to get my and on HD/CHP but since I can't reciprocate I rarely ask to trade for that. I'm not into anime or fantasy themes.
Love mixed media and always trying to figure out 'how'd you do that'
