Hi there! Newbie here. My name is Simone from Groningen, the North of the Netherlands. I was born in the 80s and I'm a social introvert. I am half Dutch and half Indonesian but born in the Netherlands. I work in an amazing building with a library, museum and cinema and lucky for me. I LOVE movies! Scifi, fantasy are my favourites but I'm not a big fan of Hollywood productions. I live together with my partner Valtteri, he's from Finland and we have a beautiful cat called Gus (female). We have no children.

Rolled in Vivian's (Paperletterblog) group after starting doing snailmail during Covid and also picked up art journaling, painting and collages.

I play lots of ukulele (for 10 years now) and I'm part of the Groningen Ukulele Society, we love meeting up and make music together, we sometimes do performances.

I also love traveling, couchsurfing and meeting people.

For snailmail: I like everything as long as it shows your enthusiasm (haha). I love vintage and botanical mail and lots of colors. I try to use as much 2nd hand materials as possible and be creative about it. I love all the possible decoration: washi, stickers I'm not big on writing long letters, those take most of my time.
