Movies I like include comedy, intrigue, mystery, and Oscar nominees. I also enjoy watching films from the earlier part of the 20th century.

Crafts of all sorts interest me; sewing, knitting, crochet and embroidery. I've been into papercrafts for a long time. This includes collage, scrapbooking, cardmaking, lettering, papercutting. I love to collect, buy, and sell vintage linens, books, papers, kitchen kitsch. Personally I collect pin cushions, other sewing notions; hens, mostly figures; old magazines like Workbasket( handiwork) or Jack and Jill(for kids). Frequently I surf the net for cool craft blogs or darling etsy shops and read and look.

Hi, all. I am a retired public school librarian having read to and guided more than two generations of children in the same school district.The best part of this career for me was, I think, seeing a student eyes light up or that smile they give when they are so enjoying the book they found in your library. I've been an enthustiastic reader since I can remember. My first paying job was in a public library in high school. I read alot now, too, but I have widened my genres to include some non-fiction, spiritual titles and some biography. I.m always looking for new authors to read.
