I'm an undergraduate at a University of California campus, double majoring in biological sciences and anthropology. My dream job was to become a physician, but soon I realized that was a bit unrealistic :( So now I'm hoping to become a successful physician's assistant and enjoying that as much as I can.

I love photography, baking, and failing miserably at making arts&crafts. I'm on the dragonboat team at school and enjoying it, thanks to my competitive streak. I'm a self-confessed band nerd, I used to be in marching band and miss it greatly sometimes. My dogs are my babies, I love them so dearly and wish they could be here with me, if it weren't for the sky-high animal fees at my apartment :(

p.s. I'm a closet Hello Kitty freak. My friends are amazed to find out I have tons of HK stuff at home. My room at home is pink. With hello kitty on the borders. You can imagine what that's like.

I'm actually a mix, those two are my top favorite as of right now though. I listen to some hiphop/whatever you want to call it, some alternative rock, some pop. Usually whatever is on the America's Top 40 list is ok with me. I also love instrumental music, it's calming for when I study :)

-Blue. Any shade pretty much, but I cannot stand bright electric blue :( That hurts!

-Teal/blue-green. I love this color so much too. You should see my room!

-Brown + blue/teal. This is one of my favorite color combinations.

-Cranberry red, like the American Apparel jacket color. Not bright red, but a more... darker and sophisticated red. :)

-Gray, but not dark asphalt-like gray.

I haven't read a good book in awhile :( I'm hoping someone here can change that! Here are some books I've read in the past that I've enjoyed though:

-Anything by Jane Austen & Edith Wharton. I.e. Emma, Pride & Prejudice, etc.

-Kite Runner

-10 Promises to My Dog. I admit, this book is originally in Japanese and I read it in the translated Chinese version, but it was such a sweet story about a girl and her dog. So I guess any book + dog is good for me :)

-Memoirs of a Geisha. Which is also one of my favorite movies.

-The Last Lecture

-Ribbon, nice paper (cardstock, scrapbook, stationery, origami), stamps, stickers, anything that can be used for scrapbooking :)

-Coffee & Tea. Except for hazelnut coffee, chamomile tea, and chai tea.

-Fruit-flavored things and chocolate; candy is always good :D

-Dogs!

-Music; music sheet or music in general

-Most cutesy things, i.e. San-X or "kawaii" items. This does NOT include Winnie the Pooh or Disney (with the exception of Lilo & Stitch and Up). Sorry :(

-Anything useful! :)

So here are some things that I don't like :(

-cats. I'm allergic to them, they are deadly to me. :( If you have cats at home, please try to avoid inadvertently shipping cat hair. I understand it's all over the place (I have dogs that shed), but at least let me know ahead of time that you have cats and I'll be careful when I open the package.

-I don't like hardcore rap, country, or screamo/metallic.

-Mystery novels, murder novels, and sci fi novels are not my thing. I'm sorry :( I used to love fantasy when I was younger, but not so much anymore.

-Yellow. I don't know why, but I really don't like this color... Purple is sorta meh as well, but if it's pastel purple I'm ok with it.

-Spicy food! I'm trying to work on my tolerance but it's hard for me!

-Skulls or anything morbid (bones, blood, etc.).

-Please refrain from sending me religious items.

-Please no ATCs
