i am a 33 year old mother of 3. a scout leader (girls). i also teach at an awana program in our local church.
i am originally from england but have lived in the us for nearly 5 years. and yes i love the change. we came over for my husbands job we agreed on a year and have stayed for 5 we are currently waiting for our green cards we have done the hard bits now we wait. my youngest child is just 9 months and she was born on US soil.
i enjoy many things. knitting, reading, food and wine, spending time with my family and obviously my scouting..

i have just been introduced to the YADA YADA PRAYER GROUP series I have read one and 2 would love some more of the series. and though when i first started thought this is not for me and after the first chapter could not put it down and am looking forward to getting the next. there are many things i would like to read and will one day get around to but the list grows and the number of hours in the day never seems to. debbie macomber janet evanovich i have now read them all nicholas sparks nicholas evans kimberly raye carly phlips jeffery dever cherry adair. suzzane brockman and too many more authors to mention

also really like to watch the disney movies with the kids and with MULAN being right at the top. What a girl!
Tim Allen in the Santa Claus movies was great to. A real family favorite.
and where would we all be without SHREK not a week goes by with out one of them being watched
funny television along with Bones and House. hopefully the writers strike will end soon and we can get back to watching those
and yes i hate to admit reality tv shows American Idol Dancing with the Stars and heres a strange one Nija Warrior
no soap operas though. used to when I lived in Engalnd but they are not the same here and I just have not gotten into them.
knitting i have been knitting on and off since i was 12 it has always been something i could do but really took off when i had the kids. they have all had a blanket and too many hats and caridgans. i have just learned how to felt and it is my new favorite thing to do, lots of fun and it seems to have many applications cannot wait to explore some more. i also like very much to cross stitch and like to do both big and small projects. have always wanted to cross stitch a tiger, but have not had the courage to start one for fear it will not look right. i have done alot of dress making and enjoy making things for both the home and children, i have made a few things for me but with no model to fit them on to it is hard to get a good fit. i enjoy making soaps and homemade spa products and love to try out new fragrances i recently found some oils that smell like margarita and pina colada again with the food thing!!! scrapbooking is something i wish i had more time for with many pictures of the kids. i also have a ton of Girl Scout pictures which i have never done anything with but now i see they are selling Girl Scout related scrapbook items in the craft store and have nudged husband in the right direction ( i hope) for christmas. really i enjoy most crafts and would have a go at anything, i love to be able to have a product at the end of the day and sit there and say i made that or look at how much it has grown today
i like anything to do with girl scouts especially vintage, or from other countries and love collecting patches.
my favorite colors, naturals and earth tones, reds, blues, pinks and purples.
i love all types of coffee (not decaf coffee should be loaded). i really enjoy trying new teas. chocolate ( of course) and am a real foodie. i love to cook asian and indian with thai being my favorite.
my favorite animals would have to be tigers and all big cats penguins and dragonflies ( so long as they are not landing on me)
my favorite scents. vanilla, coffee, strawberry, orange, really anyhting food related i am not a big one for flowery scents would rather smell like a cookie than a rose!!

Hi there,
Thanks for joining my swap! I got lots of feedback on moving it later into the Fall so the chocolate won't melt, so I decided to change the swap date to mid-September. Hopefully you can still do it!
Thanks again! EmJayBe
Hi Kristie, Just thought I'd say thanks again for one of the easiest but most lush choc recipe! I took the strawberry chocolate mousse cake to a dinner party last night and everyone was in raptures about it. I felt a bit of a fraud as it is too easy to make. Thanks for this 'secret weapon' dessert recipe. Hope things are going well for you. All the best from Kim
Hi, I have sent out the ball of cotton yarn that I forgot to include with the Dishcloth Past and Present Swap--let me know when you get it, okay? Sorry for my mistake... :-/ Shaaron
thank you for the tea. i love the taste of it:)
Thankyou so much, Kristie, for the amazing package you sent Kaitlin for the WTA 1. She was so excited that she was jumping up and down as she opened it all! Thankyou for wrapping all the things separately, it made it so enjoyable for her. She loved everything in it. You made a little girl very happy. Thankyou also for the cars for Connor, it was very thoughtful. :o)
The totebag swap I angeled for you is officially on its way. Sorry it took a little longer than anticipated but I hope you enjoy what I sent. Please let me know when it arrives.
