About Me

ALL MY SWAPS ARE COMPLETED, SENT AND/OR RECIEVED SO I AM TAKING A BIT OF A BREAK FROM SWAP BOT. NOT FOR LONG MAYBE FOUR OR FIVE WEEKS. HAPPY SWAPING AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO COMING BACK.

I was born in MA., went to school in Chicago, but I have lived in NM since 1970. I'm married to the love of my life and I have 4 wonderful grandchildren. I became a great grand mother in December. I am Christian and active in my church.

I love animals and I am currently owned by two wonderful Italian Greyhounds. They are by far the most fantastic breed in the world. One is a rescue,she came with so much baggage for such a little girl. She makes progress every day, even tho it's been 6 years.

I love and collect elephants, DeGrazia items, and new recipes. I also enjoy teas of all kinds and flavors. Either bags or loose tea work for me. I adore butterflies. I have a huge passion for Fiesta Ware anything.

I love Fall and I love snow when it melts by afternoon. I enjoy dry white wine.I love to cook, not fancy cooking, just good food.Home made chicken soup is my all time favorite and I have it at least 5 times a week. We enjoy traveling in our motor home.

My dislikes. Not many, I'm pretty easy going. However I don't like dis- honest or phoney people. Know it all's drive me crazy. I have already learned to dis-like people who join a swap and then don't have the time to do it, or rate you. I think that is pretty sad.

Favorite Music

I love the Beatles, the Beach Boys and El Divo. All 50's through the 70's music.Celtic Women and Celtic Thunder are also amongst my favorites.

Favorite Movies

Pretty Woman, Titanic and Somewhere in time. I also have to watch It's a wonderful Life every Christmas.

Favorite Crafts

Scrapbooking and card making, quilling and tea bag folding.I have a Cricut die cutting machine, that is amazing. I also have a Gypsy, that is great when we are traveling.

Brown and tourquois together and black and white are pretty neat, I think. Also love burgandy and mauves.

Favorite Books

Anything by Nora Roberts or Danielle Steele. I have a Nook and I read constantly.

Things I would love to recieve

ANYTHING to do with card making or scrapbooking. Tools, paper,brads, ribbons, embellishments of any kind, unique buttons, acrylic stamps (used is good) and inks.etc. Also twines, glitter and flowers. I also enjoy quilling and tea bag folding, so supplies for those two work as well. I also do love to work with vinyl, any color.

Sweets

I'm not a big sweet eater but when I do, I love M & M chocolate covered peanuts, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Jelly Beans, oh how I love them, however I do prefer the plain old cheap ones instead of Jelly Belly's. Also really have a passion for Good and Plenty and Ice cream.

Response: You are so welcome! You can buy the teas online at Republic of Tea. You do not need to buy in bulk. they also sell them in some stores but it is more expensive.They have a kazillion different flavors.

I also love to cook, and homemade chicken soup is one of our favorites as well! We probably only have it about once per week, but it's SO good! I enjoy cooking it, too.
