Update... I just started student teaching and it is apparently as crazy as everyone says so I will be scarce on here for a while. If you don't get something you were supposed to please send me a message and as soon as I have time to check my messages I will get back to you I promise. I hope this semester flies by so I can get back to swapping!!
I am a late bloomer... meaning I am finally getting around to getting my bachelors degree in Middle School Education. This time next year I hope to be teaching math or science, but for now I am still the student. My hubby and I fell in love at first sight, got engaged after two weeks, married after 6 months and we have been married for 24 years now. We have two great children who are 23 and 18. My absolute favorite color is purple. I think politics is a necessary evil and religion is great no matter what you believe unless you hate other people who don't believe the same. And that's me in a nut shell!
I like most music in moderation but classic rock is still my favorite!
Can you say Thank God for DVR's........... I watch way too much TV but my favorites are House, NCIS, CSI (the original mostly), The Mentalist (maybe my absolute fav right now), Ghost Whisperer (what happened to this one), Amazing Race, and The Defenders. my apologies to any I forgot to list hehe.
Ooohhhh I love arts and crafts and I can't really pick a favorite. Unfortunately since I started college I have just enough time to collect lots of stuff to do the crafts and little time to actually use my "collections". but anyway I enjoy quilting, crocheting, tatting, cross stitch, scrap booking, making jewelry, pottery/ceramics
Back when I had time to read I really enjoyed reading Tolkien, the Harry Potter series, most anything by Stephen King, come to think of it there isn't much I don't like to read as far as fiction and I lean heavily toward fantasy (but not romance novels). When I buy books they are usually part of a series I own, fantasy, or about crafts, and sadly I am usually drawn to a book by its cover although that won't keep me reading for more than a few pages if it really stinks.
My favorite movie would be impossible to say, I love Broadway musicals and Camelot is possibly my all time favorite followed closely by My Fair Lady. I also love fiction as long as there isn't too much violence or gore, vampire and werewolf movies are usually great but again it needs to have a plot and not just blood and guts (Dusk to Dawn for instance has a basically one word dialog and way too much blood for me)
