I've been rated two 1s by the same person who didn't receive my postcards fast enough. International mail is notoriously slow and she didn't even have the courtesy to drop me a line to let me know she was feeling impatient. I have no control over the speed of the postal services. So I will no longer be able to swap. I will wind up and rate anything I receive going forward and then bow out from Swapbot. I don't have time for this type of juvenile schoolyard behaviour.

Sadly, so many of my packages I send have been opened and pilfered en route to my swap partner. I am now going to solidly tape up all envelopes. I know this is an absolute pain to open at your end. I'm so sorry. But it's a deterrent to mail theft.

I enjoy interesting and semi-adventurous things that are not the norm. My children and I help my cousin with his group, Snare Aware. We go into the bush and eradicate poaching snares.

I enjoy participating in Postsecret (https://postsecret.com/), Postcrossing (https://www.postcrossing.com/), Bookcrossing (https://www.bookcrossing.com/), Geocaching (https://www.geocaching.com), and the Postfun app.

At home, I scrapbook but it's really difficult to get ephemera and other interesting things to scrapbook with so sometimes things come to a standstill.

It's interesting to try out different teas.

It's also pretty much impossible to get postcards here so if you have any spare...

South African mail can sometimes be slow and it's really difficult to find proper stamps, instead of that awful printed out receipt that they use in place of them. If that's what you end up with from me, I am so sorry. I am trying really hard to get stamps but we can't even order online - I've tried. SOUTH AFRICAN POSTAGE IS TAKING SOMETIMES UP TO 3 MONTHS TO DELIVER. IF YOU CAN'T LIVE WITH THAT THEN PLEASE DON'T SWAP WITH ME AND THEN POST ME A 1. I AM ALWAYS HAPPY TO RESEND AFTER THE 3-MONTH MARK.
