I'm a middle aged (58) dyslexic, hippie, feminist and still growing up. Married for many years with 2 daughters, who should be on their own. However, they still come and go. I am very liberal politically. I strongly support gay rights. I have a child who is gay and believe she should have the same legal rights I do.
ALLERGIES In case you don't read very far I have asthma. Smoke, perfumes and strong smells are out for me. I get migraines, from the smells.
Favorite Crafts My favorite type of art is shrines. Shrines just cover the whole gamut of art. Fun,serious, memories, fantasy and hopes. Most importantly I LOVE Glitter and happy, bright colors. Ok, enough about my love of shrines.
I like paper stuff; stamping, glitter, collage, inchies, and atcs. I do not stick a sticker on paper and call it art, on the other hand I often doubt what I make is good enough. It's a process for me, and I hope you will appreciate my efforts.
My favorite colors are purple and green. I live in the southwest with too many earth tones, I yearn for color. Give me outrageous stuff. I live close to Mexico and love the colors, food and margaritas (in moderate amounts).
I love Frieda, Georgia O Keefe, Betty Page, and other strong women. I Like strong men too, who aren't afraid to cry and be vulnerable. Guess I just like it when people let it hang out and are real about life.
I'm not real into music, sorry. I guess I have ADD and it just drives me nuts to have my ears occupied when I'm doing stuff.
On the other hand I'm a TV junkie. Right now I'm watching "Baby Borrowers".
I love to read, my favorites, Time Travelers Wife, Like Water for Elephants. I have read most of Barbara Kingsolvers' books, David Sedaris, Agusteen Burroughs, and some of Jennifer Weiner.
